Obituary: Lavigne, Norman S.
Age 89
LaVIGNE, Norman S. (Nov 30, 1923-Jan 27, 2013) Norman S. LaVigne was born in Chewelah, WA. He graduated Jenkins High School in 1942 and University of Minnesota in 1945. He married Irene Gunning on June 29, 1945. He served in the US Navy during WWII. A great outdoorsman, Norm shared his love of fishing, hunting, skiing and the mountains throughout his life. He and Irene retired to Black Lake near Colville, WA. Memorial Services to celebrate Norm’s 89 years will be held at the Chewelah United Church of Christ on February 2, 2013 at 11:00 am.
