Freeman wins NEA crown
Molly McIntyre made all seven of her free throws and finished with 18 points as the Freeman Scotties secured the Northeast A girls basketball title with a 56-44 win over the Rams at Riverside.
Alisha Sorensen added 15 points for Freeman (19-1, 11-1). Marisa Pace had 12 points and 11 rebounds for the Rams (10-9, 6-6).

Lakeside 60, Kettle Falls 37: Jocelyn Cook-Cox had 15 points and 14 rebounds to guide the Eagles (16-4, 10-2) past the Bulldogs (7-13, 2-10) in Nine Mile Falls.
District 7 2B
Northwest Christian 40, Colfax 28: The Crusaders dominated defensively in the second half and overcame a five-point first-half deficit to beat the Bulldogs in a district tournament game at Mt. Spokane.
Chanel Knight scored 15 points and Mariah Guske added nine points and nine rebounds for the Crusaders, who limited the Bulldogs to eight points in the second half.
Nicole Sheer tallied a team-high 10 points for Colfax, which beat NWC by one point in both of their regular-season meetings.
NWC advanced to the district title game and will play Reardan today at Mead at 4:15 p.m. to determine the top two seeds to the subregional tournament. Colfax will play Springdale today at 3 at Mt. Spokane.
Reardan 63, St. George’s 30: Kelsey Moos scored 18 points and Chantel Heath and Katy Burge added 10 apiece as the Indians (21-1) earned a spot in the district title game with a win over the Dragons (10-12) at Mt. Spokane. Hannah Kwasman scored 10 for the Dragons, who will play Lind-Ritzville/Sprague today at 1:30 at Mt. Spokane.
Lind-Ritzville/Sprague 57, Davenport 37: Jenna Bennett had 16 points and 14 rebounds and the Broncos (8-14) opened the game on a 16-2 run and cruised past the Gorillas (5-17) at Mead. Mallory Kessler added 12 points and seven rebounds for LRS. Davenport was eliminated.
Springdale 45, Liberty 20: Taylor Smith scored 12 points and the Chargers (11-11) forced 18 turnovers en route to a win over the Lancers (2-20) at Mead. Liberty was eliminated with the loss.
Southeast 1B
St. John-Endicott 49, Rosalia 35: Gretchan Van Lith led three players in double figures with 15 points and the Eagles (15-5, 12-4) jumped up early and flew past the host Spartans (10-9, 7-8). Mackenzie Reddish led Rosalia with 18 points and seven rebounds.
Colton 68, Garfield-Palouse 12: Paige Vincent scored a game-high 14 points as Colton (17-1, 14-0) eased past the visiting Vikings (5-14, 5-10). Garfield-Palouse trailed by 33 points at the half and were held scoreless in the second half.
Tekoa-Oakesdale 69, Liberty Christian 29: Alexandria Overton scored 20 points and Alexa Lindren added 10 as the Nighthawks (16-3, 12-3) dominated from the get-go in a win over the visiting Patriots (3-12, 3-12).
