Obituary: Souza, Henry M., Jr.
Known as “Mike” to his friends, and “Sonny” to his family, was born and raised in Hawaii.
He graduated from St. Joseph’s Catholic High School in 1957.
Mike joined the Navy Medical Corp after graduation and served until 1960.
In 1959 he married Roberta Jeanne Edwards.
Following his parents, Mike moved his own family to Spokane in 1969.
Never one to pass up an opportunity, he moved around Washington and Alaska finally settling in Colville in 1982 where he enjoyed hunting, shooting, and playing the piano in local establishments on weekends.
Mike was predeceased by his parents Agnes and Henry M. Souza Sr., brother Lamar, and the love of his life, Roberta Jeanne.
He is survived by his brother Ralph and sister Sue, both of Spokane.
He also leaves behind two sons; Michael of Pasco, and Jon of Colville and daughter Theresa of Honolulu, HI.
Mike also has eight grandchildren, four-great grandchildren, and eight nieces and nephews.
