Coming up: Eastern Washington Eagles

COMING UP: Tonight at Sac. State, 7:05; Saturday at Northern Arizona, 12:05 p.m. (Big Sky TV)

OUTLOOK: If the Eagles are to pick up their first road win of the season, this would be the time. Sac State and NAU are just ahead of eighth-place EWU in the race to secure one of seven spots in the postseason tournament. Five of the Eagles’ last eight conference games are away from home. Eastern probably needs a split of those eight games to qualify. “Obviously, this is a weekend where we can really make a move,” coach Jim Hayford said. Leading scorer and rebounder Venky Jois is “50-50” for tonight with an ankle injury; guard Jeffrey Forbes is expected back from a hand injury.
