Spokane Valley Wal-Mart robbed Tuesday

Spokane Valley Police are looking for a male and a female driving a silver, 1996 Honda Accord, license plate number 356 VJA, who they believe robbed Wal-mart, 5025 E. Sprague, Tuesday afternoon. Police said the couple entered the store around 2 p.m. and began collecting items inside the man’s coat and in the woman’s purse. They walked by the checkout line without paying. When store security confronted the man, he threw the items under his coat onto the floor and brandished what employees believe was a knife. Employees backed away from him and he left the building. The woman also attempted to leave the store, but security grabbed her jacket. She was able to take the jacket off and flee. The couple left the store in the Honda. Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward to anyone who has information about this robbery. Tipsters do not need to give their name in order to collect the reward. Call the tip line at 1-800-222-TIPS.
