Obituary: Mclaughlin, Kim

Age 59

McLAUGHLIN, Kim Kim McLaughlin passed away January 26, 2013 surrounded by family and friends.

She was born January 4, 1954 in Grand Coulee, WA, and graduated from high school there.

After graduating she studied in Wenatchee to become a registered respiratory therapist, and for over 30 years worked at Deaconess Hospital, and more recently Pullman Regional Hospital.

Kim was an exceptionally hard worker and earned the respect and friendship of her colleagues.

In 1995 she married Mike McLaughlin, the love of her life.

Her life revolved around Mike, their grandchildren, and her many friends from work and the Knights of Columbus.

She even got her grandchildren in the kitchen to help her make banana bread.

Kim was preceded in death by her husband Mike, and is survived by her brother Kevin Price; her grandchildren; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law; nieces and nephews, and cousins.

Kim’s family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at Deaconess, and the staff and volunteers at Hospice House who took such good care of her.

Kim will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

A memorial celebrating her life will be held February 23rd from 2-4 PM at the Knights of Columbus.

Donations may be made to Hospice of Spokane.
