Obituary: Brown, Margie A. (Buob)

Age 82

BROWN, Margie A.

(Buob) (09/09/1930 - 02/11/2013) (Age 82) Entered into rest at House of Hospice in Spokane Washington.

She was born on a ranch south of Cheney, Washington to Howard and Alda Buob.

She graduated from Cheney High School.

Margie was a longtime resident of the Cheney/Tyler and Sprague Area.

She was very active on the farm and worked beside her husband Jack with the Black Angus cattle for 49 years.

She was a lifetime member of the Tyler Grange.

She was one of the first women to be a volunteer firefighter to Fire District #3.

She was well known for her beautiful quilts and the delicious cinnamon rolls.

Margie married Johnnie P. (Jack) Brown Jr. November 27, 1949 and they raised four children.

Margie is together again with her husband Jack who preceded her in death November 2001.

Margie is also preceded in death by her parents Howard and Alda Buob, sister Dorothy Flowers, brother Elmer Buob, and grandson Alan Earlscourt.

Margie is survived by her brother Jerry Buob Liberty Lake WA; four children Penny (Wayne) Sanders Spokane, WA, David (Danelle) Brown, Spokane Valley, WA, Sharon (Keith) Gunn, Sprague, WA, and Richard Brown, Medical Lake, WA.

She is also survived by her four grandchildren Nikki Earlscourt, Scott (Summer) Brown, Amy Stearns, and Pamela (Adam) Juliano; two great-grandchildren Hailey Juliano and Madison Brown; numerous nieces and nephews.

The family has requested that in lieu of flowers those who wish may donate to the Tyler Fire Dept., Fire District #3, Station #312, 10 S. Presley Drive, Cheney, WA 99004, Tyler Grange #610, or the Hospice House of Spokane, PO Box 2215, Spokane, WA 99210.

Visitation will be held Friday, February 15th from 5:00-7:00 pm at CHENEY FUNERAL CHAPEL, CHENEY WA.

Graveside services will be held at the Macabee Cemetery in Sprague, WA on Saturday, February 16th at 11:00 am.

A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at Cheney Funeral Chapel at 1:30 pm following the graveside service.
