Obituary: Messer, Gloria Anne Lucarotti

MESSER, Gloria Anne Lucarotti (Age 58) Beloved wife of Archie Messer Jr. of Deer Park, WA passed away Friday, February 8, 2013 following a courageous battle with glioblastoma multiforme, a form of brain cancer.

Gloria was born January 17, 1955 in San Francisco, California to Aldo and Marcella Lucarotti.

She will be remembered for her devotion to friends and family, compassion for those in need, devotion to the Catholic Church, her love of water skiing and kayaking, and kicking butt at the ping-pong table.

Gloria is survived by her husband of 31 years, Archie T. Messer Jr; daughters Elena (Randy) Stamm and Lindsey Messer; father Aldo Lucarotti of Sunny Vale, CA; brother James A.

(Carla) Lucarotti of San Jose, CA; sister Nancy (Kevin) Young of Cupertino, CA; sisters-in-law Cathy Messer, Alice Higgins, and Laurie (Warren) Strong; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mass in memory of Gloria will be held Saturday, February 16 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Patrick Parish, 5021 N. Nelson, Spokane with celebration to follow at the Parish Hall.
