and later moving to Spokane, Ernest graduated from Lewis and Clark High School in June, 1959.
He later attended EWSU for two and 1/2 years.
He studied to be a minister for The Church of Religious Science at age 40 years.
He enlisted in the Air National Guard at age 17 years and served for six years.
For employment he worked for Electrolux Vacuum Cleaners as salesman and sales manager for 18 years.
He was an apartment manager in Seattle in his later years.
Survived by five children: Bridgette, Tim, Robert and Sean, and was preceded in death by Raymond; two sisters, Eleanor Rathbone, Spokane, and Vicki Ellis, Spanaway, WA, four nephews, and two nieces and their families.
Ernie had many interests: he loved music, played the trumpet, wrote piano music, sang, enjoyed playing cards, and watching the Mariners, and the Seahawks.
I remember our uncle was the life of the party and the joy of his mother Alice.
He is preceded in death by both parents; Howard and Alice.
Always young at heart; he was kind to all and will be missed by many.
Burial will be at Greenwood Memorial.
