Spokane International Auto Show – Today-Sunday. Sponsored by the Spokane New Car Dealers Association. The largest gathering of cars, trucks, vans and SUVs in the Inland Northwest. Spokane Golf Show – Saturday-Sunday. This year’s show includes Golf Universe demo area, PGA professionals offering personal tips/instruction, nongolf related travel, hourly seminars throughout the show, and a junior area with hitting net and instruction. Date With A Straight: A Night OUT With Our Allies - Fourth annual fundraiser for Spokane’s 2013 Pride Celebration begins tonight with an auction of 10 gay, straight, lesbian, bisexual, and transgendered participants to the highest bidder for a “date” the following night. All bids starting at $25. A meet and greet starts at 7 p.m., with auction to follow. The “date” will be held at the Giant Ass Drum Corps Valentine Ball on Saturday. The ball is a formal/semiformal community dance that starts at 8 p.m. at the Unitarian Universalist Church, 4340 W. Fort George Wright Drive Each “auctionee” and their bidder will receive an entry ticket and one drink ticket. Alcohol can be purchased at the dance. Irv’s Bar, 415 W. Lenten Fish Fry - Hosted by the Knights of Columbus. The meal of baked or fried fish, french fries or baked potato, soup, coleslaw, and garlic bread will be served from 5:30 to 6:54 p.m. every Friday in Lent. Miss Spokane Pageant - Spokane is one of the official preliminary pageants of the Miss America Organization. Miss Spokane titleholders compete at state competitions each year.
