She was the youngest of seven children born to Henry and Katherine E. (Bier) Hoffman.
She lived the majority of her life in Ritzville and attended school there.
Lillian was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and a dear friend to many.
Lillian was a talented seamstress and artist.
She loved crafts and to bake cookies; which were enjoyed by many.
She loved trips to the ocean and a casino now and then.
Lillian was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters: Louise Athey, Anna Derr and Laura Martin, three brothers: Albert, Carl and Lawrence Hoffman, a son: Robert Wells, an infant daughter, son in law Gene Schell and husband Wilford Smith.
She is survived by a daughter, Laura Schell of Ritzville, Grandchildren: Monica (Dale) Tillman of Kennewick, Linda Allen of Ritzville, Peter (Christina) Leno of Wasilla, AK, Brook (Micah) Butts and Jack (Heather) Wells of Colville; 15 great grandchildren, seven great-great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
