Obituary: Staudinger, Audrey M.

Age 77

STAUDINGER, Audrey M. Passed away on Wednesday, February 13, 2013.

Born September 25, 1935 in Bismarck, ND, she grew up in Coos Bay, Oregon, Mabton, Washington, and Priest River, Idaho.

Her career included working at the Parkade, the Spokane Police Credit Union, and Spokane Falls Community College.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles N. Staudinger, her parents, Jim and Harriet Watts and sisters, Darlene Thompson and Myrna Lucksinger.

A devoted wife and mother, she is survived by her sons and their spouses, Rod and Gloria Staudinger, Michael and Theresa Staudinger, Tom and Sheri Staudinger, five grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.

Audrey enjoyed camping in their motor home and traveling to California in the winter with Chuck.

When in Spokane, she enjoyed the company of the “Priest River Girls” - friends from high school - and her “Birthday Bunch”, wives of retired Spokane Police Officers who became friends when their husbands were on the Police Department.

She enjoyed gardening and the neighborhood children who would keep her company while she was weeding.

Most of all, she enjoyed winning at the casino, which she did more often than not.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 20, 2013 from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm and Thursday, February 21, 2013 from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm at Heritage Funeral Home.

A Funeral Service will be held Friday, February 22, 2013 at 11:00 am at Heritage funeral Home.
