Obituary: Weber, Karl T.

WEBER, Karl T. Karl was born in Bonn, Germany on January 11, 1924.

He and his family immigrated to Lufkin, TX when Karl was 12.

After graduating from Lufkin H.S.

he was drafted by the U.S. Army and was stationed in Germany during WWII.

After leaving the Army, Karl attended S.M.U.

He was then hired by Standard Motor Products and rose to the position of District Sales Manager for Washington, Idaho, and Montana.

In 1989 Karl won the “National Sales Manager of the Year award”.

Karl was very well liked by all his clients and was never without a joke or a funny story.

After 43 years of loyal employment, Karl was able to enjoy his true passion of fishing while working part time with Motion Auto Supply in Spokane.

Some of his happiest moments were spent on the water.

Even though Karl was not an avid golfer, he managed to get three aces while being a member of the men’s group at Wandermere golf course.

Karl never met a person that he didn’t like, or more importantly, didn’t like him.

Karl’s family would like to thank all the wonderful Caregivers at Harbor Glen for their kind and thoughtful care of Karl while he was a resident there.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years Marie; his sister Amelim Alexander of Beaumont, TX, brother-in-law Mickey Dukch, his son Nick, daughter-in-law Janet and only granddaughter Nicole.

Please come help celebrate Karl’s life on Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at 1:00 PM at the Knights of Columbus located at 302 E Boone Ave Spokane, WA 99202.
