Fire in Spokane apartment complex extinguished
A fire that erupted inside a North Spokane apartment complex was quickly extinguished this morning by firefighters.
Although witnesses reported hearing a “boom” before seeing smoke and flames billowing out of a third-floor unit about 9:15 a.m., Spokane firefighters said they’d found no indications of an explosion.
No injuries were reported. Firefighters remain at the scene in the Houston House apartments, located in the 600 block of East Houston Avenue.
