COMING UP: Saturday at Arizona (FSN), noon
OUTLOOK: The Cougars need to win at least one of their four remaining games to avoid their worst conference record since 2005-06, and are already assured of at least tying the worst conference record of the Ken Bone era. It doesn’t get much easier on Saturday, as the Cougars, losers of seven consecutive games, travel to McKale Center to take on the No. 12-ranked Arizona Wildcats, a team that already defeated the Cougars 79-65 in Pullman earlier this season. It’s also likely WSU will remain shorthanded, as senior guard Mike Ladd didn’t play in Wednesday’s loss to ASU and is doubtful again to play Saturday.
