Light snow leads to slick commute

From staff reports
Light snow this morning made for a slippery commute with several accidents reported throughout the Spokane area. Accidents littered Interstate 90 and state Highway 2, including at least two accidents at the freeway exits to Medical Lake. Rollover accidents were reported on West Charles Road and state Highway 195 near Mullen Hill. The National Weather Service in Spokane is calling for snow accumulation of less than half an inch before it turns to rain around 1 p.m. Regions above 2,800 feet could still see snow. Winds are forecasted at 9 to 11 mph with possible gusts of up to 20 mph.
