Obituary: Price, Christina M. “Peggy”

Age 88

PRICE, Christina M. “Peggy” 10/18/24-2/6/13 Peggy was born in Seattle to Clifford and Christina Hughes.

She spent the first 25 years of her life there going to school and working at the U.W.

athletic department.

She met the love of her life Bob Price in Seattle.

They were married in Coeur d’ Alene in 1950 and settled into a happy life in Spokane.

She built a wonderful life around a special group of longtime friends, bridge clubs, book clubs, PEO and church.

Her life revolved around her husband Bob and their children Gary and Lori.

Family activities included the support of the family business Standard Drug, the enjoyment of Manito Park, summers on Diamond Lake and Priest Lake, time spent in the San Juan Islands, boating and family vacations.

Peggy loved camping, tennis, bridge, Tuesday morning coffee, pottery, art, playing the piano, music and friends.

Peggy was preceded in death by her husband Bob.

She is survived by her children Gary (Jennifer), Lori Donner (Curt), and grandchildren Schuyler Price (Ingrid), Galina Palomo (TJ) and Nick Donner (Jera).

She is also survived by one great-grandchild Olen Donner and one on the way (to Galina and TJ).

Peggy will be missed by all.

She was a wonderful wife, loving mom, special grandmother and a good friend.

A memorial service will be held Monday, February 25th at 2:00 p.m. at the Rockwood Community Center, 2903 E. 25th.
