Obituary: Pynn, William E. “Bill”

PYNN, William E. “Bill” (Age 68) Died Monday February 18, 2013 in Spokane.

He was born July 27, 1944 son of Bob and Mary Jane Pynn.

Bill graduated from Lewis and Clark High School and Spokane Community College.

He served in the U.S. Navy during the Viet Nam War.

Bill worked as an aircraft mechanic for United Airlines in Oakland California before moving back to Spokane where he worked for the City of Spokane, Lights and Signal Division.

He then worked many years for Kaiser Aluminum as an electrician.

Bill was a proud member of the United Steel Workers Local 338.

PQ as he was known to friends was an avid tool collector and willing helper to many.

He was an extremely loyal friend who maintained close connection to pals he had from his earliest childhood days.

He was a reliable source of information to his cronies on subjects ranging from handy work to electronics to politics.

He will be missed by family and friends.

Bill is survived by brothers Mark of Sun Valley, Idaho and David of Spokane, WA and his sister Mary Massie and brother-in-law Bob Massie, niece Mellissa “Brent” Bozarth, and nephew Michael “Michelle” Massie.

A celebration of Bill’s life will be held on Saturday, February 23 at The Harvester Restaurant in Spangle, WA at 3PM.
