Johnathan Loyd had season highs of 15 points and nine assists to lead No. 23 Oregon to a 77-66 Pac-12 basketball victory over Stanford on Saturday night at Eugene.

Carlos Emory led the Ducks with 19 points and Arsalan Kazemi scored 15 points for the Ducks (22-6, 11-4), who gave coach Dana Altman his 600th career win and kept themselves tied with Arizona atop the standings.

Loyd, making his ninth start in place of injured point guard Dominic Artis, sparked Oregon with 6-of-8 shooting.

Dwight Powell led the Cardinal (16-12, 7-8) with 16 points.

Oregon led 30-26 at halftime but outscored the Cardinal 11-4 early in the second half to go up 46-34 with 13:50 to play and Stanford never got closer than 10 points the rest of the way.

California 60, Oregon State 59: Justin Cobbs had 18 points and the surging Golden Bears (19-9, 10-5) won their fifth straight game by outlasting a late rally from the Beavers (13-15, 3-12) at Corvallis.

California has won seven of its last eight games, including victories over then-No. 7 Arizona and No. 23 Oregon.
