Post Falls wins state play-in

Keaton Corr made three 3-pointers in the fourth quarter and scored 13 of his 16 points to lead Post Falls past Eagle 57-48 in a 5A state boys basketball play-in game Saturday in Grangeville, Idaho.

The Trojans (11-13) outscored the Mustangs 22-12 in the fourth quarter after entering the period down by a point.

Nick Hall added 12 points for Post Falls.

The Trojans open state play on Thursday at Nampa. Post Falls made it all the way to the title game last year before falling 49-31 to Borah.

3A state play-in

Buhl 54, Kellogg 37: Kade Crossland made six 3-pointers and scored 10 of his game-high 26 points in the decisive third quarter as the Indians eliminated the Wildcats (14-10) at McCall.

Kellogg trailed by two points at the half, but was outscored 19-8 in the third quarter.

Garret Wendt scored 11 points and Logan Sauer added six points and five rebounds for the Wildcats.

2A state play-in

Cole Valley 68, St. Maries 59: Trevor Thomas scored 23 points and grabbed nine rebounds as the Chargers eliminated the Lumberjacks (14-10) in Grangeville.

Cole Valley broke a tie at halftime by outscoring St. Maries 15-5 in the third quarter.

Warren Joiner, Rhett Ryle and Austin Linnemeyer all scored 12 points for the Lumberjacks. Jordan Stapleton added eight points and six assists for St. Maries.

1A DI state play-in

Clearwater Valley 56, Lakeside 34: The Knights (11-11) were eliminated after falling to the Rams in St. Maries.
