Obituary: Hofman, Lee

HOFMAN, Lee Lee Hofman passed away February 22, 2013 at Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane WA.

Lee Hofman was born on November 14, 1937 to Parents Tenis and Winnie (Zoetmon) Hofman in Lynden, Washington.

He graduated from Lynden High School in 1955 and from the University of Washington in 1964 with a Bachelors degree in Business Administration.

Lee served as member of the United States Air Force as an Air Traffic Controller for four years.

On November 19, 1971 he married Patricia “Patti” Bryant in Denver Colorado.

Lee worked as a sales representative for Texaco and later in life started his own painting business, Lee’s Painting.

Lee enjoyed fishing, walking his dogs, and was a very accomplished wood carver.

Lee is survived by his wife Patti, his two sons, Gerald (Janet) and Bryan Hofman, his grandson Philip, his sister Pearl Calix, his two brothers, Sam (Helen) and Len (Peggy)Hofman and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Lee was preceded in death by his father Tenis, mother Winnie, and brother Tim Hofman.

Lee will be buried at Holy Cross Cemetery in Spokane, WA.

As per Lee’s request there will be no funeral or graveside service.
