Obituary: Stelzer, Robert F.
Age 91
He was born March 25, 1921 to parents David and Julia Stelzer.
He grew up in the Creston, WA area and graduated from Creston High School in 1938.
After leaving home, he drove truck and later became a Mack Truck Salesman until he retired.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling, boating and spending time with his family.
His greatest enjoyment came after he retired and was able to spend most of his time at his summer home on the Spokane River.
He married Gladys Panther on January 1, 1949.
He is survived by his wife, Gladys, of 64 years; his daughters, Carol Blume (Larry), Peggy Rennick (Doug); son, Jerry Stelzer (Kathy); three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Robert was preceded in death by his mother and father; sister, Amanda French; and his brother, Norman Stelzer.
A Memorial Service will be held at the Spokane Valley Baptist Church, 1222 S. McDonald, on Friday, March 1st, at 1pm.
The family would like to thank all of Robert’s caregivers at Guardian Angels Homes in Liberty Lake.
