Obituary: Winter, William Earl “Bill”

Age 56

WINTER, William Earl “Bill” (Age 56) William “Bill” Earl Winter was born on August 21, 1956 to Robert and Patricia Winter in Seattle, WA.

Bill passed away peacefully on February 24, 2013 at the Hospice House in Spokane, WA after a 20-month battle with brain cancer.

Bill was filled with passion; passion for his work as a photographer and an even greater passion for people.

He was the owner of Summit Photography, running his business with endless enthusiasm.

He knew just how to make a bride feel at ease and produced brilliantly stunning photographs of the event; all while thoroughly enjoying himself every step of the way.

Influential in INPRO, networking was his specialty.

He was the kind of man who never met a stranger and somehow managed to keep every friend he ever made.

Bill married Janene on April 17, 1982 in Pullman, WA and together they have enjoyed thirty-one blessed years of marriage.

In 1993, they welcomed the birth of their daughter, Emily to the family.

Together they have enjoyed many camping trips and one very epic road trip across the country.

Bill was a loving husband and father who brought the best stories and the most boisterous laugh to the dinner table.

He will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his wife, Janene; daughter, Emily; brother, Rob Winter; sister, Cathy Winter; nephews Matt (Kelly) and Chris Winter.

A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, February 28, 2013 at 7:00pm at La Belle Vie, 18507 E. Appleway, Spokane Valley, WA 99016.
