Lewiston man dies of injuries after hit by vehicle

Associated Press
MOSCOW, Idaho — A Lewiston truck driver has died of injuries suffered when another vehicle struck him as he stood outside his truck on U.S. Highway 95 south of Moscow. The Idaho State Police say 34-year-old Shane Moyer of Lewiston died of his injuries Wednesday at Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane. The ISP says Moyer’s truck was stopped in the southbound lanes of the highway at about 9 a.m. Monday when a car driven by a Lewiston woman lost control on a downhill curve and sideswiped Moyer’s truck and trailer. Moyer was standing outside the semi and was struck by the car.
