MONDAY: “The Bachelor” returns tonight and this time it’s Dallas insurance man Sean Lowe overseeing the run for the roses. He’s the guy who had his heart torn to shreds by Emily Maynard in the most recent edition of “The Bachelorette.” 8 p.m., ABC.
MONDAY: In the new drama, “Deception,” a detective (Meagan Good) embeds herself in the lives of a wealthy family to investigate the mysterious death of a childhood friend. Naturally, dark secrets are soon uncovered. 10 p.m., NBC.
TUESDAY: “Justified,” one of prime time’s top dramas, returns for a fourth season and this time, Raylan Givens (Timothy Olyphant) finds himself looking into a 30-year-old cold case that echoes all the way back to his boyhood days in Harlan. 10 p.m., FX.
TUESDAY: Break out the wine. “Cougar Town” is back, but now, Courteney Cox and her happy-drinking cul-de-sac crew are doing their thing on basic cable. 10 p.m., TBS.
TUESDAY: No, your DVR isn’t lying to you. Starting tonight, “Jimmy Kimmel Live” airs before “Nightline,” in a time slot that allows Kimmel to go toe-to-toe with Leno and Letterman. 11:35 p.m., ABC.
WEDNESDAY: No surprise here: Fan favorite Justin Bieber has five nominations in the “People’s Choice Awards 2013.” If that bugs you, take it up with the people. 9 p.m., CBS.
THURSDAY: Bill Pullman and Jenna Elfman star as the frazzled president and first lady in “1600 Penn.” Following its December sneak peek, the Beltway sitcom makes its official debut. 9:31 p.m., NBC.
FRIDAY: It’s about time: On “Shark Tank,” new ways to keep coffee hot and ice cream cold are submitted for the Sharks’ approval. 9 p.m., ABC.
SATURDAY: Pride, prestige and a really sparkly crown are all up for grabs tonight as some of the country’s most gorgeous young women vie in “The 2013 Miss America Competition.” Chris Harrison and Brooke Burke-Charvet are our hosts. 9 p.m., ABC.
