Showdown with Hollywood

No surprise the Christmas Day movie release was not the Christmas story. It was “Django,” a swell western where the black ex-slave kills a bunch of white guys.

The news media barely report the possible correlation between movies, video games and gangster rap with gun violence. Five hundred murders in Chicago last year can’t be blamed on Hollywood, or can it?

The industry will never take responsibility and clean up its act until good reporters and legislators demand it.
