Obituary: Haugen, Phillip T.

Age 76

HAUGEN, Phillip T. (Age 76) Born January 29, 1936 in Maddock, North Dakota; passed away January 1, 2013 in Bullhead City, Arizona.

He is survived by his sons: James (Flora) Nenema, Phillip (Thy) Haugen, Michael (Melissa) Haugen, Craig (Mallory) Haugen all of Spokane; daughters: Darlene (Earl) Auld of Usk, WA, Lori (Mac) Heller of Camino, CA, Debra (Sid) Rogers of Lafayette, OR, Tina Nenema of Spokane; brothers Gene (Janice), Keith, and Duane (Candy) Haugen all of Fargo, North Dakota; 19 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary, his parents Ingman and Myrtle Haugen; granddaughters: Nerissa Nenema, Earlene Auld, Raylene Nenema and daughter-in-law, Suzie Haugen.

Phil retired from the Air Force after serving for 27 years including a tour in Vietnam.

Phil was a wonderful father and grandfather who was very active in his children and grandchildren’s many sporting events.

He also enjoyed spending time at the Northern Quest Casino and traveling, especially cruises.

Visitation will be Tuesday, January 8, from 12:00 noon to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

A Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, January 9, at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.

Interment with full military honors will be at Holy Cross Cemetery following the funeral service.
