Snow causing school delays, closures

Freeman, Medical Lake, Cheney and Davenport school districts are closed today due to dangerous driving conditions caused by snow.

Davenport initially announced a delayed start, but in a later message said the district decided to close.

Tekoa announced it will close at 12:20 and all after-school activities will be cancelled.

The Reardan-Edwall School District also is closed, and all activities and practices are cancelled.

Christian-Heritage and Great Northern school districts are also closed.

Newport schools will start two hours late today, and there will be no preschool.
