Obituary: Moeller, Virginia Jeanne (Brown)

MOELLER, Virginia Jeanne (Brown) Born on June 4, 1925 and passed away peacefully at home on January 7, 2013 surrounded by her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband of almost 50 years, Lawrence Moeller; her brothers LaVerne Brown and Jack Clark; and sister Ruth Paap.

“Granny” Ginny and Larry lived a life full of fun.

After she retired from Gonzaga University, they enjoyed spending summers with friends and family at their lake property in North Idaho and winters in Arizona.

years living with her daughter and son-in-law, where family gatherings were a weekly occurrence.

She is survived by her daughter Linda McGill and son-in-law Tom McGill; grandchildren and their spouses, Melissa Ford (Rick), Larry McGill (Laura), Leslie Geldien (Jeff) and Ryan Snider (Vicki); great-grandchildren, Kelsey and Lindy Ford, Hailey and Sara McGill, Grace and Olivia Geldien and Brandon and Carson Snider; numerous nieces and nephews; and daughter #2, Linda Sue McClure; also lifetime friend Eileen Stansbury.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 9, 2013 from 4:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. at Thornhill Valley Chapel, 1400 S. Pines Rd., Spokane Valley, WA.

There will be a Memorial Service on Friday, January 11, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 3606 S. Schaefer Rd., Spokane Valley, WA.
