Obituary: Wellsandt, Arlene V.

WELLSANDT, Arlene V. Born September 12, 1925, in Ritzville, WA, passed away January 5, 2013 at home with family by her side.

Arlene provided care to the Ritzville and Spokane area for over 50 years as a Registered Nurse.

She loved her years as a nurse working for the Ritzville medical clinics, nursing home, hospital, Public Health District and then finally at St. Joseph Care Center in Spokane.

She and Kermit farmed many years south of Ritzville moving into town in 1976 and then to Spokane 1987.

Arlene was active in the communities and her Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband Kermit.

She is survived by sons Steve (Robyn) and Tim (Sue) of Ritzville, daughter Marilee Naddy (Ron) and son Mark (Dorothy) of Spokane.

Also surviving are 10 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

A memorial service for Arlene and Kermit will be on January 12, 2013 at the Emanuel Lutheran Church in Ritzville at 11am followed by a reception at the Church.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the Ritzville Food Pantry.
