Prepared for invasion

Regarding Norman R. Coffman’s “Big clips kill more” (Jan. 1) letter, I was enlightened by his comment in line 19, “Is he expecting his home to be invaded by an army?” How interesting.

That’s what the folks did in the early 1700s to protect themselves against an invading army, i.e., the British armies.

I get interesting emails, like you all do. One that resonates says “When you come for my guns … bring yours.” It really makes sense then to have the high-cap magazines, if for no other reason.
