Take action on guns

It’s like the old axiom, “Everyone talks about the weather but nobody does anything about it.” Same way with fully automatic guns and clips.

I have been around guns and hunting for 70 years and was active in Inland Northwest Wildlife Council for 54 years. I’m a U.S. Army veteran. Me and many of my friends agree something must be done about these murderous weapons.

In my lifetime, we had many wars in which weapons were brought home as souvenirs, and some used for hunting, but none as deadly as today’s arsenals in the hands of our burgeoning mentally ill population, which I might add was not a problem when the Second Amendment was written. Times are changing, and we must as well for the good of all who believe in life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

If one’s interest in these weapons is only for collection, target shooting or protection, organize a club and enjoy these benefits and stop these uncalled-for funerals – now.
