Washington State Cougars

COMING UP: Saturday at California, 1 p.m. (Pac-12 Networks)

OUTLOOK: With one more day than usual between conference games, Washington State faces a California team coming off a loss to Washington. The Golden Bears feature the conference’s leading scorer, Allen Crabbe, a sharp-shooting guard who was averaging 21.4 points per game entering Wednesday’s game against Washington. Cal and Stanford were the only Pac-12 teams the Cougars didn’t play on the road last season, though they beat both at home for their only weekend sweep of the season. WSU hasn’t won at Cal since a 70-49 win in 2008.
