Lot riding on Michigan-Ohio State grudge match


There are very few rivalries as intense as the annual football grudge match between Michigan and Ohio State. Although its basketball counterpart doesn’t have as much vitriol and hype, it’s clearly not just another game when the second-ranked and unbeaten Wolverines (16-0, 3-0) play the No. 15 Buckeyes (12-3, 2-1) today ( CBS, 10:30 a.m.) in Columbus, Ohio. Aaron Craft, OSU’s point guard, says there’s just something about watching the date draw closer of any matchup with your rival. “It’s Ohio State-Michigan. I don’t care what sport it is. It could be synchronized swimming,” Craft said. “You always want to win.” – AP
