Obituary: Porter, Brian W.

PORTER, Brian W. (Age 62) After fighting a brave battle against pancreatic cancer, Brian passed away at home January 2, 2013, surrounded by the love of his family.

He was a long-time resident of Spokane.

Brian was born April 19, 1950.

He graduated from North Central High School in 1968.

He worked as a yard engineer at Kaiser for many years.

Brian had a passion for restoring hotrods.

Spending time with his grandchildren also gave him much joy.

He is survived by his wife Paulette Porter; stepchildren Kevin (Cindy) Smith, Kim Ratrcliff, and Korey Smith; grandsons Nicholes, Jacob, Tyler, Tanner, and Alex; granddaughters Amanda and Jena, all of Spokane; sister Ona Porter of NM, and brother Blair Porter of CA.

He is now where the angels are.

We will always cherish our fond memories of Brian.

A celebration of Brian’s life will be held January 19, 2013 at 1:00 pm at Colbert Chapel, 4922 E. Bernhill Rd, 99005, Colbert, WA.
