Second arrest made in Friday shooting
Spokane police have made a second arrest in a Friday night shooting on East Liberty Avenue, police said today.
Danael J. Dublin, 33, was booked into Spokane County Jail on two counts of first-degree assault.
Two persons, who were not identified by police, were reported in critical condition at a Spokane hospital following what is believed to be a gang-related shooting, police said.
Dublin was also held on earlier charges of theft and driving a vehicle without insurance.
Phillip C. Ruiz, 23, was arrested Saturday on suspicion of first-degree assault in the Friday night shooting at 311 E. Liberty Ave. Officer Jennifer DeRuwe, spokeswoman for Spokane police, said they expect to make additional arrests as the investigation continues.
