Scottish Gala - Robert Burns Supper & Dance - A Scottish gala celebrating the life of Scotland’s poet Robert Burns. The evening will consist of dinner, traditional haggis ceremony, poetry reading, a no-host bar with a fine selection of single malt scotch, bagpipe bands, Highland dancing, Scottish country dancing, and live Celtic music. Tickets can be purchased through Monday at www.spokanescots.org or by phone. This is an annual event hosted by the St. Andrew’s Society of the Inland Northwest as a fundraiser to promote Scottish culture. Saturday, 5:30 p.m. Mukogawa Commons, 4000 W. Randolph Road $50/person. Black & White Ball - The Coeur d’Alene Symphony presents its annual fundraiser. Enjoy socializing and dancing with a live orchestra.
