U-Hi takes second at Jug Beck meet

Great Falls won the Jug Beck Rocky Mountain Classic in Missoula on Saturday with University second. Wrestlers from 31 schools took part.

Ryan Gabel claimed an individual title for the Titans at 140 pounds. He beat Lewiston’s John Kenyon 3-1.

Sentinel was third, followed by Lewiston, Bozeman, Mead, Coeur d’Alene and Central Valley.

Central Valley had three weight-class champions including Bryson Beard (112 pounds), Colton Orrino (130) and Tanner Davis (189).

Mead’s Tyler McLean (160) and Chandler Rogers (171) also won titles.
