Obituary: Brittain, Elda
Age 85
She was 85 yrs old.
Elda was born March 14, 1927, in Ouray, Colorado to Leo and Prima Inama.
Elda worked in the Navel Supply depot during WWII.
On October 21, 1954 she married Roscoe Brittain.
Elda was very involved in her church, she taught CCD, and remained involved in various women’s groups in the community and church.
Elda was a Girl Scout leader.
She enjoyed camping and gardening.
Elda is survived by her daughter, Claire (Brian) Bergevin; granddaughter, Britanne’; grandson, Ian; sister-in-law, Teresa Inama and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Elda is preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister and brother.
A Rosary Service will be held on Thursday, January 17, at 7 PM at St. Paschal Catholic Church.
A Funeral Mass will take place at 11 AM, January 18 also at St. Paschal Catholic Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to St. Paschal’s Parish.
