OUTLOOK: The Vandals had the lead or were tied late in each of their last three WAC games – and they lost them all. Instead of coming into today’s game at Louisiana Tech 5-0 in conference, Idaho is seventh in the WAC at 2-3. How will the Vandals respond against one of the WAC’s top clubs? “They will fight, I guarantee you,” coach Don Verlin said. “Whether we win or not, I don’t know. But we will be ready.” Idaho left at 3:30 a.m. Wednesday to start the long trek to Ruston, La., where the Bulldogs have won 10 straight. LTU leads the WAC in scoring (73.3 points per game) and blocked shots (5.4 per game).
