‘Problem house’ raid nets three arrests

Staff report
Spokane police arrested several people after executing a drug-related search warrant about 6 a.m. today. An investigation by the Spokane Violent Crimes Gang Enforcement Team led police to a “neighborhood problem house” at 313 E. Queen Ave., said police spokeswoman Officer Jennifer DeRuwe. They executed the warrant at a shop behind the home at that address that’s rented out. Sean Watson, 43, the primary target of the investigation, had left prior to police arriving, but was arrested after a traffic stop on suspicion of delivery of methamphetamine. Several other people were inside the shop when police entered, and two other men, Lucky Guzeman Jr., 29, and Casey Wescott, 35, were arrested on outstanding warrants. Detectives seized a handgun and methamphetamine found during the search, DeRuwe said.
