Three arrested following North Spokane drug bust

Spokane police arrested several people after executing a drug-related search warrant about 6 a.m. today.

An investigation by the Spokane Violent Crimes Gang Enforcement Team led police to 313 E. Queen Avenue, said Spokane police spokeswoman Officer Jennifer DeRuwe. They executed the warrant at a shop that’s rented out behind the home.

Sean Watson, the primary target of the investigation, had left before police arrived, but was arrested after a traffic stop on suspicion of delivering methamphetamine, police said.

Several other people were inside the shop when police entered and two other men, Lucky Guzeman Jr., 29, and Casey Wescott, 35, were arrested on outstanding warrants. The woman who lives there with Watson was released.

DeRuwe doesn’t know at this time whether Watson had drugs on him at the time of his arrest.
