Obituary: Campbell, Carol M.

Age 68

CAMPBELL, Carol M. (Age 68) Carol Mae Campbell passed away on January 14, 2013 at the age of 68 in Spokane, Washington.

She was born on September 21, 1944 to Lavern Donavan and Jean Marie Huggar, the only daughter of six children, her brothers are Dale Kish of Escondido, CA, Steve Donavan of Ephrata, WA, Jack Anderson of Kennewick, WA, Greg Anderson of Liberty Lake, WA, and Norman Anderson of Spokane, WA.

Carol is survived by her husband of 42 years, William; son, Travis W. Campbell and daughter-in-law, Erin Campbell; three granddaughters, Peyton, Olivia and Sophia Campbell all of Spokane, WA; son Daryl Campbell of Spokane; and a lifelong friend, Lorraine Steiner.

Carol enjoyed making quilts for her granddaughters and the children of Vanessa Behan Crisis Nursery.

She treasured the lasting friendships she made at the Quilting Bee.

Priest Lake, Idaho was a favorite place for Carol to spend time with her family and take in the beautiful scenery.

Carol was a grandma who enjoyed sharing her granddaughter’s milestones and special events.

Bill and Carol made memories in the adventures they shared traveling and aboard cruise ships.

Carol attended Holy Names, Lewis and Clark High School and Spokane Community College.

She was involved in Ponderosa PTSA, Women’s Republican Party, Eastern Washington Genealogy Assoc., Washington State Quilters Assoc., Spokane Valley Quilters Assoc., and the Washington State Horse Breeders Assoc.

There will be a private family service held at Fairmount Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation can be made to Vanessa Behan Crisis Nursery.
