Obituary: Kruger, Sharon Viola (Walkley)

Age 72

KRUGER, Sharon Viola (Walkley) (Age 72) Went to be with our Lord January 13, 2013 in Waco, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her parents Firmer and Velma Walkley, loving husband Ervin Kruger, brother Kent Walkley and daughter Gail McCarthy.

She is survived by her two sisters Glenda Fiddler and Helen Knutsen.

She is also survived by her children Gus (Joyce) Kruger, Jody (Corey) White, Sara (Scott) Shupe, Steve (Karen) Kruger, Lori (Gary) Roberto, Jana (Jim) Brickner, Jackie Love, Glenda (Joe) Chapin, and 28 grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren.

Sharon was born in Colville, WA, August 19, 1940 and the family eventually settled down in Spokane, WA.

Among her many attributes, Sharon was a wonderful wife, mother, servant, cook and follower of Jesus.

She also was a voracious reader and maintained an open door policy so she could lovingly care for all who entered her home.

She will be missed by every life she touched.

Burial service will be Friday, January 25th at noon at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, 17825 E. Trent, with an open reception immediately following at Timbercreek Buffet, 9211 E. Montgomery.
