Vets ready to defend

Part of the debate over gun control involves the definition of “militia” in the Second Amendment of the U.S. Constitution. What hasn’t been pointed out to date is that over 22 million U.S. military veterans in America today form an intangible militia, based on the fact they all have sworn to defend the Constitution of the United States of America against all enemies foreign or domestic, have had significant weapons training, and are therefore a viable resource for defense of the Constitution.

In case the government of the U.S. decides to become a dictatorship, a well-armed militia of veteran citizens stands ready to resist such an action. And if such action becomes necessary, there are millions more citizens ready to join in defending the Constitution. In case you think a governmental dictatorship in the United States can’t happen here, well, it can happen here, especially if all citizens are stripped of their firearms.
