Stabbing victim expected to survive

A man who was stabbed 19 times Tuesday evening is expected to survive, according to Spokane Police. KHQ-TV is reporting a man in his 50s was walking home from Walgreen’s after buying a soda. He later showed up at a home in the 100 block of East Dalton looking for help. Police said he was stabbed 19 times in the back and neck and he may also have a collapsed lung. The victim was unable to communicate with police Tuesday, but police hope to piece together more evidence Wednesday morning. They believe this is an isolated incident and there is no need for the public to worry.
