Obituary: Vanderlin, Virginia Rose

Age 94

VANDERLIN, Virginia Rose (Age 94) God called her home on January 15, 2013.

She was born on April 25, 1918 in Newport, WA to Paul and Theresa Migvar.

Virginia was a member of Windsor Baptist Church and a 50 year member of the Windsor Grange.

Everyone loved her.

She had lots of friends and neighbors and never met a stranger.

She was a resident of the Windsor area for over 60 years, after which she moved into town in 2004, because there was too much work to do on the farm.

She loved doing word search puzzles, talking on the phone and made great fried chicken.

Virginia worked at a Bible camp on Silver Lake when going to Marshall Community Church; earning the nickname “Aunt “Jamima” by the kids, most still call her that when they see her.

She worked as a housekeeper in private homes for years.

She liked to fish in her younger years.

She always wanted to know everything that was going on with family - daughter, grand kids, whoever.

Virginia loved to go out and eat and liked to go for rides.

She is now in heaven pretty much still doing the same things.

God be with her.
