Spokane Police detectives and the Special Investigative Unit served a search warrant at the home at 10150 N. Seminole on Thursday. Neighborhood Conditions Officer Paul Taylor had alerted detectives about the home, which had drawn a number of complaints.

“During the investigation and while conducting a risk analysis, detectives learned that subjects there were known to have been armed and assault law enforcement,” spokeswoman Officer Jennifer DeRuwe said in a press release. Because of that, the department’s SWAT team searched the house.

Detectives recovered a small amount of meth during the search, police say.
