Second look at amendment
I feel like it’s time to take a second look at the Second Amendment. It contains only 27 words. It’s pretty direct. Here it is:
“A well regulated Militia being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms shall not be infringed.”
These days I think we need to pay more attention to the first four words and less attention to the last 14. These folks that fear the loss of their gun rights today are neither well-regulated nor a militia.
