The award honors fundraising professionals with three to five years in the advancement profession. Shelton is currently the assistant director at Washington State University’s College of Education. She created the Cougar Colleagues and Recent Graduate programs for the WSU Foundation. Heimbigner is the director of marketing services for the Gonzaga University Marketing and Communications Department.
Gonzaga Law School has honored John R. Clark by establishing an endowment in his name that will provide student loan repayment assistance to selected graduates working as public defenders. Clark, an alum of the law school, provided 30 years of service as a criminal defense attorney before he died in 2010.
